Director and Floor Coordinator

Kenjai Macphail – Perth, Western Australia

Kenjai is a Master Competitor, a successful salon owner, and the newly appointed Director of the Oceania Nail Championships.

Kenjai has firmly established her place in the Masters Division in competitions around the world, winning medals at Nailympia London (online 2021), becoming the Overall Grand Champion and Masters Division Champion at the 2021 Oceania Nail Championships, as well as Overall Grand Champion at the 2025 NZ Nail Championships, to highlight a few.

In 2017, Kenjai opened the doors to Kustom Klaws – one of Perth’s most sought-after Nail Studios.

In 2023, Kenjai became a Judge for the Oceania Nail Championships, and in 2025, she was hand-picked to be the new Director of the Oceania Nail Championships Australia.

Head Judge

Stacey Jones – Perth, Western Australia

With over 22 years of experience as a nail technician in Perth, Stacey has built a reputation for excellence and innovation in the nail industry. Specialising in sculptured acrylics, structured manicures, soft gel extensions, and intricate nail art, Stacey combines technical skill with a passion for creativity.

A seasoned competitor, Stacey has entered and won numerous nail competitions, including being crowned 2018 Technical Champion and taking first place in every category entered that year. Her work has been published in Nail Pro Magazine, further cementing her reputation as a respected industry professional.

Beyond technical expertise, Stacey is known for advocating positive change within the nail community, encouraging technicians to charge what they’re worth and helping raise industry standards so that every nail artist can earn a fair and sustainable wage.

As Head Judge for this year’s Perth Nail Competition, Stacey looks forward to recognising and celebrating the outstanding talent, skill, and dedication of every competitor.

Teresa Warman – Perth, Western Australia

Teresa Warman founded the Oceania Nail Championships in 2020. For the first 5 years, Teresa was the driving force behind the competition. In early 2025, Teresa decided to step down as Director of the Oceania Championships to allow her to focus on other business ventures.

Director of Elite Nail Design & Beauty Salons and CND™ Education Ambassador, Teresa, has entered many nail competitions over the years, achieving Overall Champion trophies in Novice, Open and then Masters Divisions. She received ‘Overall Australian Competition Winner’ Trophy in 2018.

During this time, Teresa was also a nail artist as part of London and Paris Fashion weeks, working alongside Marian Newman’s team, for designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney.

Victoria Houllis (Mannequin Hands) – Sydney, Australia

Sydney-based nail artist Victoria Houllis first fell in love with all things nails early in life, rearranging her mum’s nail tech’s kit into colour order during her home visits. By high-school, she was collecting nail magazines from Kinokuniya and at 16 she bought her very first gel lamp.

Since oficially opening doors in 2019, she’s had the pleasure of doing nails for Dua Lipa, Charli XCX and Shy Girl. Victoria has had her work featured in Vogue, Paper Magazine, Oyster, Stylist and Acclaim. 

In 2025 Victoria released officially became a published author, releasing her book “Mannequin Hands – A Guide to Nail Art”.

Pippa McManus – Perth, Western Australia

Pippa McManus is an International award winning  artist who is a highly respected figure in both the fashion and art worlds.

Pippa’s works have been exhibited all over the world, including in her favourite gallery, Modern Eden in San Francisco – where she has featured in three recent shows.

For the last 10 years, Pippa has been one of the judges of the Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists, so she’s no stranger to the judging arena. Pippa will be a guest judge for the Flat Hand Painted category.

Jonny Diep Pham – Sydney, Australia

Jonny Diep Pham is a passionate and highly accomplished nail technician and artisan with over 20 years of experience in the nail industry. 

 
He has dedicated his career to perfecting his craft and inspiring others through both his work and his competitions.
 
A standout competitor, Jonny was crowned Overall Champion at Nailympia Australia (2015) and earned First Runner-Up in the global competition “Next Top Nail Artist” (2017)—testaments to his exceptional skill, innovation, and creative vision.
 
Along with his sister, Jonny has built and run several successful nail businesses for over 20 years, where he continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of nail professionals.
 
As the founder of JDP Nail Products, Jonny has developed a brand known for its high-quality products, designed to help nail technicians and nail artist achieve excellence in their work. His expertise, commitment to the craft, and passion for sharing his knowledge make him a respected figure in the industry.

Janabeth Obungen (House of Beauty) – Sydney, Australia

Janabeth stands out as one of Australia’s leading Editorial Celebrity Nail Artists.

Her expertise has earned her the role of in-house nail artist for the prestigious Australian Fashion Week in 2023 and 2025, collaborating with notable designers such as The Injury, Mariam Seddiq, Albus Lumen, Karla Špetić, and Hansen & Gretel.

Her signature nail designs have graced multiple films and television series, including Year Of, House Of Gods, Bump, The Narrow Road To The Deep North, Critical Incident, Watching You, and Anyone But You.
 
Janabeth boasts an impressive clientele of celebrities, including Sydney Sweeney, Alexandra Shipp, Hadley Robinson, Odessa Young, and Lara Andallo.
 
 

International Online Judge

Alex Fox (Nailympia), UK

With 25 years industry and judging experience, there’s no force quite like Alex Fox. She is undoubtably one of the most highly respected figures in the Nail Industry.

In 1998, she worked at the UK’s first trade magazine “Nails Plus”.

Alex also co-founded UK’s “Scratch Magazine”, a leading industry publication, and was instrumental in creating the Scratch Stars Awards in 2012.

Alex is perhaps best known as the Global Director for the world famous Nailympia over the last 20+ years.

The global Nail Competition culture is largely credited to Alex Fox and Nailympia.

International Guest Judge

Amanda Viviers (NZ Nail Championships) – New Zealand

Amanda Viviers is a highly respected figure in the nail industry, currently serving as Co-Director of the New Zealand Nail Championships.
 
In 2015, she achieved a significant milestone by winning the overall title at the NZ Nail Championships.
 
Her talent was recognized again in 2018 when she reached the top 3 finalists for the NTA Nail Tech of the Year NZ/AUS.
 
In 2019, Amanda became a certified judge with the International Nail Judges Association and took on the role of Head Judge and co-owner of the NZ Nail Competition the following year.
 
Her dedication earned her the title of NZ Nail Technician of the Year, showcasing her passion and hard work.
 
By 2023, Amanda expanded to Australia and won the Masters Division Overall Champion title at the Oceania Nail Championships.

Damon Ho (Nailympia Vietnam), USA/Vietnam

Damon Ho is a franchise salon owner, entrepreneur, and international educator recognized for his dedication to elevating the nail industry worldwide. From humble beginnings in the U.S., he has grown into a respected mentor, competition judge, and organizer of global events such as Nailympia Vietnam. Damon has trained and inspired thousands of nail professionals, many of whom have gone on to become successful salon owners and educators themselves. With a strong belief in collaboration over competition, Damon’s mission is to uplift the nail community, share knowledge, and empower the next generation of artists to thrive in both craft and business.
